Who I am
This website is run by Snap Media Ltd, trading as Cornerstone Digital. Registered in England and Wales, company number 16390638. Registered office: 347a Wallisdown Road, Poole, England, BH12 5BU. If you have a question about your data, email eric@cornerstonedigital.co.uk.
What I collect
- If you contact me. The site has no forms. If you message me on WhatsApp or email me, I keep that conversation and your contact details so I can reply and, if we work together, run the project. I don't add you to a mailing list.
- Server logs. Like most websites, the web server keeps a standard log of requests, including IP addresses and browser type, for up to 30 days. I use it for security and to see overall traffic.
- Analytics, only if you accept. See Cookies below.
I don't sell your data, and I don't use it for advertising.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you're happy for me to use analytics cookies.
- Accept: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are loaded. They show me which pages people read, how they move around the site and where they leave. Clarity can record clicks and scrolling on the page. Neither is used for advertising, and I've turned off Google's advertising features.
- Reject: none of these load and no analytics cookies are set. The site works the same either way.
Your choice is remembered in one small cookie (cd_consent) for a year. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies are deleted.
| Cookie | Set by | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
cd_consent | this site | remembers your Accept/Reject choice | 1 year |
_ga, _ga_… | Google Analytics (only after Accept) | counts visits and pages | up to 2 years |
_clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity (only after Accept) | groups page views into a visit | up to 1 year |
Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies: Google and Microsoft.
Your rights
